Facing CRC error with dead rising 2 RAR.

I recently downloaded dead rising 2 RAR and whenever I try to extract archive I receive CRC error. Does anybody know why I’m facing this issue and is there a way to rectify this? Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Hello Conrad,

• You will need to check the cause of the issue. In the case the CRC error could be thrown by the hard drive, and therefore its cause is likely data being incorrectly written to the hard drive. The cause of that can be either the operating system being corrupt, or a power loss.
• To fix that, you will need to run CHKDSK application by going to "My Computer" folder, and then right click the affected hard drive and click properties.

Facing CRC error with dead rising 2 RAR.

You can solve this problem by downloading a fresh copy of the file you are downloading. Try using a different server if possible. Once the download has started, try as much as possible not to disrupt the process.

Another thing that might remedy your problem is scanning your system for any malware. Use Malwarebytes Antimalware for this purpose.
