I am unable to handle lots of options tell me an easy way of installing cygwin in windows 7.
Assist!!
Facing Installation issues on cygwin ?
Cygwin is of nature of UNIX terminal, which is executable on windows environment. Â First you need to download a setup.
- URL:Â http://cygwin.com/
- Run the setup.
- Keep next.
- On the window ‘Choose a download source ‘. Click on the radio button ‘Install from internet’. The first option.
- Keep next; set the root directory of your choice. Set install for. ‘All users (recommended).
- Keep next set local package directory.
- Next, set your internet connection (direct) which is first option.
- Keep next, choose any site. From where installation will start.
- Keep next. Package list will display. Keep it as it is and click on next button.
- Installation will start. This may take several minutes
- After installation finish it
- Click on cygwin icon, may be on your desktop and take a start up

Facing Installation issues on cygwin ?
Use the below mentioned procedure to install the application
1. Download the executable (setup.exe file) and save it on the desktop.
2. Right click on the setup.exe to run the software with admin account.
3. Allow the setup to run. Accept the default folder if stopped by windows security and click on Next button.
4. Â Accept the default folder and click onNext button .It should appear something like C:Usersusername Desktop.
5. In the Choose download site window select any file and clickNext
6. Installation will proceed. In case you see any waning message, click OK to proceed.
7. In the Select Package window search forPCRE .
8. Select all the applications that you like, these should include the below mentioned list. The application can be selected using search as above. Â
(Applications : util-linux, ncurses devel, pcre devel, openssl devel, zlib devel, libtools and autoconf)
9. Click on Next to proceed.
10. Click on OK to initiate the download. This might take some time.
11. Click on the check box next to add icon to the desktop and Create icon on the desktop. Click Finish.
