I am running a Windows 10 PC. I was trying to scan my PC with the Microsoft Windows Defender but the scan would not complete. The scan would terminate in between and show an error 0x800106BA. Please help.

Method 1
• Set your Windows Defender to automatic.
• Make the Defender service to run automatically.
• Go to Start Menu and search Windows Defender.
• When you find it, right-click on it and select ‘Automatic.’
Method 2
• Uninstall and reinstall Windows Defender.
• Open the Run dialogue box.
• Type in ‘appwiz.cpl’ and press enter.
• Search for Windows Defender and click ‘Remove.’
