Facing trouble using Mplayer and VLC player

Hi experts,

I am getting trouble using Mediaplayer and VLC when I try to play larger video files an error message appears saying “Abnormal playback termination.

Check log file for more information”.

How can I remove this annoying error message?

Have any idea?

Facing trouble using Mplayer and VLC player

Try to delete all files referencing the two programs. To do this, go to your ~/Library and delete everything containing “VLC”, “mplayer”.You should also be specific since we can’t check what’s happening with your system. Try to paste the contents of the log so we may have an idea what’s wrong with VLC and MPlayer.

Most probably, you have third party applications under /Library/InputManagers. Try to delete these files and restart.
