Hi guys.
I can’t connect to my Twitter app with my BlackBerry Smartphone.
I just upgraded to 2.1.0.20 and since then I keep getting the error below when trying to connect to my Twitter account. How can I be able to get rid of the error?
BWPÂ Security Token retrieval failed.
Failed to connect to Twitter App in BlackBerry Smartphone
Hi friend,
I think your blackberry security system is not allowing this twitter script for several reasons. May be you uploaded your phones some software so that twitter has lost configuration. Another possibility is to check system blocking this feature. Because maybe it is harm full for the phone at this moment.
So you can follow my suggestion to go through this link https://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/8160/?countrycode=us&lang=en. Here you will find two suitable twitter.jsp for your phone. You can download them in several ways. As like download through your blackberry browser or download through application world.
After download this application you may need a small configuration setting according to your network setup.Â
After that it will not create that type of problem.

Below are the two solutions which I got after my search, hope this will work out for you as well.
1. Globe’s Hotline user here! Just called their hotline, then they connected me to the Globe's technical team. Went to Options > Security > Service books. Deleted ALMOST of its content then the technical team sent me a new list! Then it was fixed!Â
2. From the Globe’s Hotline, they said that my BB Social was activated as a postpaid account instead of the BB Social for a Prepaid Account. They advised me that they will update my account in the system and I just need to reboot my BB after 1 hour.
After 1 hour everything is back to normal.
