Failed to update the system registry
Reason:
This issue appear due to these registry keys because these give not permission for set value. This error occur when you are doing work in domain or you don't have admin rights.
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTAcroExch.Document
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTCLSID{B801CA65-A1FC-11D0-85AD-444553540000}
The kaspersky program attempts to write to these registry keys when it starts and generates an error message if it is unable to do so. These registry keys are not generally "writeable" in a secured environment.
Solution
For removing this problem Log on to your computer as an administrator. Use Regedt32.exe to view the following registry keys:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTAcroExch.Document
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTCLSID{B801CA65-A1FC-11D0-85AD-444553540000}
Grant all users (everyone) the "Set Value" permission on each of these shared registry keys.
ok
Failed to update the system registry
There may be a problem with your system that’s why the Windows registry can’t be updated. Using the regedit command is very simple but critical because it actually accesses the system registry. There is no problem in using the regedit command but the only problem here is that how will you update the system registry if you don’t have a single clue on what to update there. It is also possible that your antivirus caused a conflict in the installation process and made the registry inaccessible for the automatic system update.
Try disabling your antivirus first then uninstall the application. Restart the computer when asked. After booting the machine, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. After the disk check and while the antivirus is disabled, install the application again. Just re-enable the antivirus when all tasks are finished.
