Family Tree Maker 2012 Error while Synchronizing

I launched Family Tree Maker 2012 and sync it successfully. And then I added some materials to Ancestry but without syncing. And when I try to sync it again, I got an error "Error occurred while synchronizing this tree. You can try again later but if this message returns you may need to unlink your trees and upload a new linked tree from FTM." Can someone tell me what the problem is all about?

Family Tree Maker 2012 Error while Synchronizing

As per customer service say that most people who are having sync problems after the patch are related to firewall or virus software conflicts. You might need to run FTM to sync and it will fail (freeze up, go to "not responding" or give an error message, try to close it and it will go well already.

Family Tree Maker 2012 Error while Synchronizing

Hi Madeline,

This error is very common for most FTM users. They have been struggling with this issue when syncing. This sometimes occurs when you close the Family Tree Maker while syncing. Try to compact your file and then try to sync it again. Or set the SyncNow to Manual. IF this doesn't work, try to contact the FTM developer and report your issue.
