Fast in loosing battery Microsoft Surface Pro 3 laptop

Hello!

I am just new here. I would like to ask for assistance with my laptop. This is a new laptop. I just bought it 2 weeks ago. It keeps on loosing battery right away. I charge it every day to make it sure that it is full charge. But it will only take 30 minutes for the battery to drain. I have to make it sure that the power cord is always plugged to outlet. I can’t bring it anywhere I want. Can you provide me solution on how to maximize the battery life for this laptop? What could be causing this issue? Is there any alternative way to resolve it?

Fast in loosing battery Microsoft Surface Pro 3 laptop

It seems that there is an issue with the laptop battery and it needs a repair or a replace. For this task you can simply try connecting a spare battery, if available or contact for a resource person.

In the meantime, you can try scanning the computer for malware attacks by using an anti virus guard. 

Open task manager and check for any unnecessary programs that are running without your knowledge and close them.

Also uninstall any unnecessary software and files saved.
