Final Cut Pro fails to complete the operation

Hi experts,

Recently I updated Final Cut Pro in my Mac OS and when I tried to open this application I get this annoying error message saying “The operation couldn’t be completed. Invalid argument”.

Can I fix this error without having any issue?

Final Cut Pro fails to complete the operation

Hi Catherine,

This is a known error with Final Cut Pro and happens just after you have updated the software. Try the below workarounds and see if it helps:

1. Delete the current preferences and reboot. Try running the program.
2. Disconnect any back-up drives after you have taken a complete backup of your existing projects
