I heard Intel has this new anti-theft alarm for ultrabooks that is bluetooth-based. Since it's bluetooth-based, I have to be within the specific range to be able to know that someone's napping my laptop. What are the other security features of this anti-theft alarm? How much does this cost? Hope it's not that pricey.

Actually that is already the features of that laptop. Normally if someone stole your computer, the phone has the application which is connected to your laptop via blue toot. When someone will try to steal your laptop, your phone will warn you by sound. Because it uses only blue tooth, the range doesn’t go beyond 5 feet. There are many comments about this alarm features like

1. The alarm will increase the possibility for someone to steal both the phone and the laptop.
2. Will you be stupid enough to let someone steal you computer in front of you just because the connection only range up to 5 feet.
3. You cannot prevent someone to steal your laptop just because of password protected from it.

I think the price is not yet published on the internet. So we better wait for that.
