Most of us may have been looking to make the most of the Windows business software. And now that Mozilla had officially released Firefox 6, anybody interested can download it. How does FireFox 6 works? What are its differences compared to FireFox 5?

FireFox 6 and FireFox 5
Visually, Firefox 6 looks very much like Firefox 5. Â But under the hood, here are a few improvements that Firefox 6 has over Firefox 5:
1.  Speed – Firefox 6 boasts of faster startup times and faster performance through hardware acceleration than Firefox 5.  Although there have been some people who ran benchmarks and found that Firefox 6 is actually slower than Firefox 5, IE9 and Opera 10, I guess speed is more of a perception on the part of the user.
2.  Emphasized domain name of URL addresses – For example, if the address: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/58.0/releasenotes/ is in the address bar, "https://www.techyv.com" is slightly more emphasized than the rest of the address.  This makes it easier for users to spot questionable URLs that sometimes fool users into thinking it is a legitimate address.
3.  Security – Firefox 6 lets users customize their security settings per site.  So, if you trust a certain website, you can set the security to the weakest setting while high security settings will still be applied by default to other websites.
Here's a more comprehensive list of the features of Firefox 6: Â https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/features/
One word of caution though. Â Just like any upgrade of Firefox, some of your add-ons may not immediately work with Firefox 6. Â Although I'm sure add-ons will get updates for compatibility in a couple of weeks, if you rely on a certain add-on for your day-to-day browsing and are not sure if it will still be compatible with Firefox 6, then you can postpone your upgrade until the add-on gets an update.
