Firmware execution error No matched drive detected

Hello guys.

I have an Acer Travelmate 230, and I’m trying to get the firmware on its Lite-On LSC-24081M. I found the link to the firmware. However, after I executed the link, I got the following error:

“Error … 

No matched drive detected ! 

This utility is only for Slimtype COMBO LSC-24081M drive. 

Detected drives : 

1-0-0-0:  SlimtypeCOMBO LSC-24081M

2-0-0-0: SCSVAX DVD/CD-ROM”

Firmware execution error No matched drive detected

Hi Chester,

 

Regarding to your problem in having this kind of error I'm pretty sure that you downloaded a firmware that is not compatible with your system. The firmware you're trying to install is searching for a driver which is not on your computer. Download a firmware which is only compatible to your Acer TravelMate 230 that will meet all the system requirements.
