Whenever I try to run ‘dcdiag’ on more than one domain controller, I get the error 1722 the RPC server is unavailable. Why is this happening?

Fix The Error 1722 The RPC Server Is Unavailable. Why This Happens.

‘Error 1722 the RPC server is unavailable’ shows that a lower layer protocol is observing a connectivity failure. Concerning AD replication, the RPC client who is on the destination DC was not able to connect to the RPC server. General causes for this are given below.

1) Local link failure

2) Resource limitation

3) DNS failure

4) WINS failure

5) Routing failure

6) Firewall blocking

7) Higher layer protocol not running
