Fix ip Configuration To Be At Ease At The Time Of Troubleshooting.

TO CHANGE IP ADDRESS I WINDOWS 7/8/10:

viii. Open start menu.

ix. In the search box type network and sharing.

x. Select Network and Sharing Center.

xi. Go to change adapter settings.

xii. Right-click on the local adapter and select properties.

xiii. Click Internet Protocol version 4 and then select properties.

xiv. Go to use the following IP address.

xv. Enter the correct IP address, Subnet mask and default gateway.

xvi. Then type the preferred DNS and alternate DNS server.

xvii. Tick the validate setting upon exit and then OK.

xviii. Close the window.

xix. Windows network diagnostics window will open. If you have a problem occurring choose according to you.

xx. Open command prompt and type IPconfig and confirm the network adapter settings are changed.

IN WINDOWS VISTA:

xxi. Open start menu.

xxii. Right-click on network and go to properties.

xxiii. You will be redirected to Network and Sharing center window.

xxiv. Click Mange network connections.

xxv. Right-click on the network adapter. From that click on properties.

xxvi. Click Internet Protocol version 4 and then select properties.

xxvii. Go to use the following IP address.

xxviii. Enter the correct IP address, Subnet mask and default gateway.

xxix. Then type the preferred DNS and alternate DNS server.

xxx. Tick the validate setting upon exit and then OK.

xxxi. Close the window.

xxxii. Windows network diagnostics window will open.
