While accessing the Cisco VPN client, I got the following error 442 cisco vpn client and it says failed to enable virtual adapter.

Fix The Error 442 Cisco Vpn Client, Can’t Enable Virtual Adapter

You can try the following methods: –

• You will have to locate various services and stop them, for that search for services in your Start menu and find Cisco Systems VPN Service and the Internet Connection Service and stop them immediately.
• After the 1st step open the Cisco VPN client program again and the error should go away.

Also, you can do some registry changes, navigate to the following path shown in the image below and change the value data field of Display Name and save the changes.
