Since the last few days, whenever I tried troubleshooting in my Windows, I am getting this error, ‘unexpected error has occurred.’ Is there any simple method to fix this error? Thanks in advance.

Fix unexpected error has occurred.

There are many methods to fix the error ‘the unexpected error has occurred.’ They are as follows:

• The method is to scan your PC. Press Windows + R; the ‘Run’ dialog box will open. Write ‘cmd’ in the text box and then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter together to access the command prompt as administrator. In the command prompt type ‘sfc /scannow’ and press Enter. The process of scanning will take some time to complete. Once done, restart your PC and check if the error continues.
• Try this method if the error is not fixed by the above one:

Click on the start menu and type ‘Services’ in the search bar. Click on ‘Services’ to open it.

Now, you will see a list of services. First, you need to search for ‘Diagnostic Policy Service,’ right-click on ‘Diagnostic Policy Service,’ and click on ‘Properties.’ Select the ‘Start-up’ type as ‘Automatic’ and click on ‘OK.’

Now, follow the same steps and select the ‘Start-up’ types as Manual for ‘Diagnostic Service Host’ and ‘Diagnostic System Host.’ Once done, try restarting your computer and check if the error persists.
