When I try to download a ration card from the government’s website, then it gives error ‘SGIBIOSRV install is not running’ during the fingerprint capture. What can I do to resolve this problem?

Fixing A SGIBIOSRV Install Error Offline

First login to the website. And fill every detail you can. Make sure you have a quality fingerprint reading device. Now if during the capture the error ‘SGIBIORSV is not running’ comes up then follow the steps –

1. Open start, and type services. Open the first option and look for ‘Secure RD installer.’

2. Now if you found it then right-click on it and select ‘start.’ (In the image there is a different service. You need to look for Secure RD installer.)

3. Once the service has started, go back to the webpage and press the capture button and record your fingerprint.

4. If they are successfully recorded, then it means the service is running.

5. Fill the rest of the details, and apply for your ration card.
