Fixing Error Code 0x8024800c

I just installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit on my Asus K55vd laptop. The error code 0x8024800c. I can not apparently do Windows updates. I am able to connect to the net without having problems. Does anyone have a plan to solve this problem?

Fixing Error Code 0x8024800c

I had an identical problem and following the work for me.

1) Open CMD as “Run as Administrator”

2) Once the scan is complete, restart the Windows updates and rerun them (also check that your Windows license says “Windows is enabled”)
