The standard VGA graphics adapter means that only the windows built-in graphics driver is working, and the driver for the particular graphics card is not installed or corrupted. It usually has a display aspect ratio of 4:3. To the driver issue,
1. Uninstall the driver
2. Try updating the driver
3. If you cannot find the update, just use a third party update tool like Driver Easy or FileHippo to update the driver for you.
I think that’s only an error on the driver. It appears both video adapters are pointing to the built-in video adapter of your computer and normally, a standard motherboard comes only with one built-in video adapter. Check the back of your CPU and see how many video ports are there.
If you see only one video port then that error on the Device Manager is an error with the system. Since you already have installed the Intel HD Graphics 4000 video adapter, uninstall the “Standard VGA Graphics Adapter.” Right-click it and select “Uninstall.” Close the Device Manager and restart the computer. After booting, go back to the Device Manager then check the video adapter again.
See if the “Standard VGA Graphics Adapter” is still there. But if the video adapter you removed came back, visit your motherboard’s manufacturer website and download all the drivers for your motherboard. You should find its website printed directly on your motherboard.
