Folder is not writable to Save file
It seems that you are using windows vista or windows 7 so you cannot just run this application as like windows XP. You have to run it as administrator every time or you can change its compatibility mode to XP by doing as follows:
Go to: C:program filesFreeCommanderXE
And go to the properties of the main exe file of Free Commander. Click on the Compatibility tab and select the first option "run this program as" to windows XP service pack 3. Click OK to exit.
Now coming to the file write error. This error occurs because your user doesn’t have any permission to write this folder "C:program filesFreeCommanderXE"
Go to Program Properties > Security Tab >
Select your user from upper area and then click edit. Now in lower area which is permission area. Select Full control.
Click Apply and then OK.
Now run the program again and you will not see error any more.
