I forgot my BIOS password and now I have to make some changes in BIOS but I can not open the BIOS. I used the password a few months ago and now I totally forgot it and am having much trouble regarding that.
Is there any method to reset the password or change it?
Forgot my BIOS password and can’t remove it?
You can change your BIOS setting again and you can break your BIOS password as well.
1st you need to open the case of the CPU.
Then when you see the motherboard inside your CPU, remove the BIOS cell battery from the motherboard.
This way you can break the BIOS password.

Forgot my BIOS password and can’t remove it?
Hello,
If you forgot your password in the BIOS, just simply remove the CMOS battery in the motherboard. Unplug the unit because this is a small battery inside the motherboard. If you remove CMOS battery inside the computer, it will forget the setting in the hardware including the BIOS password. Then wait 10 to 25 minutes before putting back the CMOS battery, to the motherboard. This makes all devices in use should unplug or discharge in the computer in removing the CMOS battery.
After removing the CMOS, simply plug the device or power up the unit and check the BIOS if there is no more password and just go to load BIOS Default on the BIOS. Save and fix them.
