Forgot my Smartphone unlock pincode?help

Hey guys,

Please answer me as soon as possible as I forgot y smartphone unlock pincode so please help me fix this problem and unlock it. My smartphone is HTC Butterfly and I forgot its pincode which I changed just yesterday. I don't know how to unlock it so please suggest me some solution that may help me unlock my smartphone.

Forgot my Smartphone unlock pincode?help

Hello Joseph,

 

After trying 5 times to unlock your phone with the wrong code you will receive a pop up saying "Forgot Pattern".

 

Press this button and at that point you will be prompted to enter your Gmail name and password.

 

Once you enter this information you will be prompted to enter a new unlock code.

 

If you do not have a Gmail account you will need to call your cell phone carrier or perform a factory reset on your phone.

 

To perform a hard reset, please note that you will loose everything on the phone, all personal data, any settings that are customized and any installed programs.  It will be like your phone is brand new and you just received it.  

 

1.  Turn your phone off.

2.  Hold the volume button down and quickly press the power button

3.  Click the volume down which will select clear storage and press the power button

4.  When is asks you to confirm, click the volume up.
