Found Error When re-downloading Hitfilm

Hi everyone, while I am re-downloading the Hitfilm application in the same folder where the installation is done in the previous time I got the error as “Entry Point Not Found” as shown in below fig.

FXMediaQTServer.exe – Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point QTCF_CFHTTPMessageSetHeaderFieldValue could not be located in

the dynamic link library QTCF.dll.

When we press OK after 2 times I am getting another error as to install Quick time for processing the files as in below figure.

HitFilm Standard

Please install Apple QuickTime in order to import QuickTime movie files.

You can download QuickTime from https://support.apple.com/quicktime

I hope someone can help me with this.

Found Error When re-downloading Hitfilm

Hello Olivia, 

Re downloading the file might be the cause of the error. It happens because, the application is loading information from the database and can't find the right version DLL file. To fix it, you need to put the file into the right place by moving the other group of files to a different folder as follows:
1. Copy QTCF.dll to a different folder together with the other DLL file.
2. Accept the UAC prompt.
3. Run your application.

You can also try to Uninstall the previous application, download the latest version and Reinstall using the most recent one. 
If problem still persist, contact your Service Center for further problem diagnosis.
