I am getting a strange error when I tried to download a . PDF file from Foxit.
I have pasted a copy of the error message below, for your reference.
Format error: not a PDF or corrupted.
I am trying to download a huge .PDF file, which comes up with this error message. I am using my Window Vista Ultimate machine to download this file. When I start the download, it starts downloading normally but after it reaches more than 1 MB it starts slowing down and gives me this error message.
This is the first time I am trying to download it on my Vista machine.
Is this something to do with the OS and its security features?
Since I was able to download it previously on my Windows XP machine .
Please help.
Foxit error message while trying to download a huge file
Hi James ,
It's not something to be worried about. First, that may happen due to your server being disabled to access the file. I recommend to zip the .PDF file and then you have to check the troubleshooting options and change the settings to,
" limited to zip files only " .
I hope that will help you to solve your problem .
Also please check your drive space, maybe you don't have enough space for the file. If you need further help,
Please let me know.
Best Regards,
Tom
Foxit error message while trying to download a huge file
When I attempt to play music on the virtual dj,
I get a message saying error message check sound card. Currently I am running it on the Windows 7 professional machine. This is the exact message that it shows, ” Error in the ASIO sound driver: One sound card is probably not connected, or the settings are incorrect ”
I want to know if I need a new external sound card for me to play this deck for the Virtual DJ? Because I do want to play the music in my latest audio files,
I want to know if that will be possible.

I have read your problem and thought I would try to help you out on the problem you are facing regarding the Foxit error. Well first of I would like to tell you that Vista is a much sensitive OS than XP. So if you have downloaded this PDF from any unknown source or untrusted sites, then Vista can definitely find out the problem and stop further processing of the file.
This is not a Foxit issue but rather a site issue from where you are downloading the file. The file may have got corrupted too so in order to read the file you need to download the latest version of Adobe Reader from http://download.cnet.com/windows/ and may be you will get the file read. If the problem still persists then please contact you computer supplier about the problem but they are guys who can understand the detail in full depth.
