Frets On Fire Error When Entering A Song

I installed the latest version of the application Frets On Fire which is version- 1.2.512.

After loading the application I was able to go to menus and everything; but as soon as I enter a song, I get the following error “cx_Freeze: Python error in main script”. The full screenshot of the error is shown below:

Frets On Fire Error When Entering A Song

Hi,

In some cases after installing the latest version of the application Frets On Fire version- 1.2.512, loading the application , user is  able to go to menus and everything; but as soon as he enters a song, he get the error messafe “cx_Freeze: Python error in main script.

The reason of this problem is that Frets on Fire v1.2.512 was released with some bugs in it, some of which also result in this error message. I recommend you to use an earlier version such as v1.2.451 or v1.1.324.Also don't forget that when uninstalling FretsOnFire the configuration file will generally remain on your computer. That is why before  installing another version you should remove that configuration file named fretsonfire.ini from your computer.
