LG and Samsung are partnering with Gaikai to feature the latter's Gaming Cloud. You just have to have the right Smart TV model with the latest firmware update to be able to try out the games. What is this gaming cloud is all about? What accessories do you need to purchase for the said application?

Gaikai’s Smart TV Gaming Cloud

 

The ‘gaming cloud’ as you call it is simply an extension of cloud computing which is a web service for hosting programs remotely (as in, in a cloud). So, the gaming cloud is a service being offered by Gaikai whereby you can access the internet and play video games remotely. All you have to do is use your web browser to access Gaikai.com and you can start playing immediately. Therefore, you need fast internet connection, Java and the latest Flash to stream games online. As for the LG and Samsung TVs, the firmware you require is 1023.0 but it is normally preloaded.
