Games Installed in new Laptop encountered malfunction

Hello to all

My laptop brand could not install the game software, even run the setup.

Here is one of the errors that came out during installation;

 

 

An error occurred while trying to read the source file:

 

The source file is corrupted.

 

Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file (not recommended), or abort to cancel installation.

 

Each time that I have installed new games on my computer, always going to leave the error and the installation cannot even be installed completely.

Once the installation was successful, but it could not be heard and open the icon of the game. But other software can be fully installed on your computer, only the games had a problem.

As the game cannot be installed and used in my new laptop?

I am using Windows XP.

Please help!

Games Installed in new Laptop encountered malfunction

• The games you are trying to install, are you installing them from any DVD Disk directly or from a backup from the HDD? If it is a DVD, please check if the disks can be read properly. Try copying contents from the DVDs to HDD and see if it completes successfully. If they also show error like “Cyclic Redundancy Check” during the copy, your DVD disk or drive may be damaged. Try other disks to make sure if the drive is ok.
• If you are trying to install from a HDD backup, the backup files may be damaged. Try collecting them again from the original source. Before that, run a checkdisc on the drive where you are storing the files to check if there is any problem in the filesystem.
• Also check if your antivirus is blocking any files from loading during the installation. Try installing the games with antivirus disabled.

I hope this will help to your problem.

 

• First you should know the Specs of your computer before installing Games. Your computer should meet the System Requirements that the game require. So you can play the Game.
• Because the installer you have corrupted files. You can download the latest version of their game in their website. And install it to your Laptop.
