Garmin Nuvi 52LM showing wrong address

Hi all,

I was using the Garmin Nuvi 1350 and it was working fine. But, I lost it recently and then I bought a new Garmin Nuvi 52LM with free lifetime maps.

I have updated the maps yesterday. Today I have entered my office address and observed that it is showing some wrong place. As I know the place, I reached there and when I checked GPS it was still showing me to go to some other wrong place.

Is this an error with maps or the device itself? Did somebody faced this kind of issue? Someone please help me. Thanks a lot in advance.

Garmin Nuvi 52LM showing wrong address

Hello,

 

This may be a result of either entering the address incorrectly or the maps lacking that location information. Verify that you are entering the right address rather than local language for the location. You may have to resort to using nearby addresses that are in the maps. When these maps are created, certain addresses may not be recorded for a variety of reasons: the address is very new, the address technically/legally does not exist, or the address has been changed by the town or city.
