Generic joystick drivers, work on ps2?

Hey guys

I and my friend are having some hot conversation on generic joystick drivers. I need to know whether it works for ps2 joystick as well or not?

Dear Agustin,

The standard Ps2 Dulashock controller cannot possibly be connected to the PC and used for gaming as it does not run on USB rather it has ots own ps2 specific port. If, however, someone were to bring forward a controller with usb connector then a driver would enable us to use it. That is the principle on which modern day USB game controllers work.

It is certainly possible, just the limitation of USB port. (no substitutes)
