But how can they ensure that users of this site is using their own identity?

Genuity of Facebook users own identity

Facebook tries to reveal fake accounts. They announced that 5-6% of the accounts are fake. This year after some negotiation, Facebook has filed an amendment to its initial public offering, acknowledging new risks associated with its business. They announced that 5-6% of the accounts are fake, which starts to be a problem. The company has made a virtue of requesting people to use their really identities.

There is nothing that they can do when you are in a process of making a false profile, but you can be reported by the other users. Facebook tries to protect its users, so if somebody has a fake profile, or uses your identity just visit the Facebook help center and report this.

Hello janis Caldwell,

Well, it is very hard for Facebook to identify fake accounts but Facebook is trying to work on it. It is a hard time for them to identify fake accounts because there are millions of users in this social networking sites.

I think this could be impossible for them to identify fake accounts. But lets see!
