Get this error message using My Book live

Hello,

I get this error message using My Book live (S/W 2.0+) to create a safe point on a My Book World (Blue Rings).

The error shows “Your safe point could not be created due to a failed request”.

I want to know about this weird error message. Please help me to fix this issue.

Get this error message using My Book live

This error is due to incompatibility between the Samba versions used by the destination drive (My Book World) and by the Safepoint function on the My Book Live. To fix this, you have to upgrade your version of Samba or store your safepoint on a drive that already uses a newer version.
