Hey,
I recently bought a COMPAQ computer and installed Adobe Audition because I deal with music and so music recording is the order of the day for me. However, when I tried to run it, it brought the error below. Is this a compatibility issue or is it something to do with the installation?
Adobe Audition
Adobe Audition could not find a supported audio device. Please check your device settings.
Good day.
Get error when recording music using Adobe Audition
Hi Abrielle,
Base on your problem that the Adobe Audition does not support the audio device and could not found the said audio device. I have tried to research from the internet to fix your problem. Just try this simple steps of installation:
Step 1: Go to internet browser, then Search for free VST plug-in. Follow this link: http://www.kvraudio.com/q.php and follow all the rest of procedures until you download the VST exe files.
Step 2: Check the integrity of the file downloaded if it has containing a viruses or mallware. You can also scan the files through this site: https://virusscan.jotti.org/en
Step 3: Once it is clean, Double click the installer and follow the installation process.
Step 4: Launch the Adobe Audition Application – then Go to effects – Add/Remove Directory VST, The general path of the folder must be c:ProgramFilesAodix
Step 5: Once added, Go to Effects and click Refresh list of effects.
The very good thing is that, Adobe Supports both VST and Direct X plug-in, so its your choice what will be the type of plug-ins you need to install most of Adobe Audition plugin is Direct X based.
Hope this steps way help you to overcome your problem.
