I have recently tried to install Kaspersky 2010 on my computer but I have encountered a problem. While installation it says. "Installation ended prematurely because of an error." I still cannot get what is the error.
This is very annoying problem.
Get an error while Installing Kaspersky 2010
You received this kind of error message because there is a key that is still on your registry. To resolve this issue of yours, you can try to delete this key from the registry “avp6_post_uninstall”. This key is not deleted after you uninstalled your former version of Kaspersky.
You can delete this by simply going to “Start” then “Run” now input regedit then press down “OK”
Command this: HIKEY_LOCALMACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftCurrentVersionRun
Enlarge the folder of “Run” by pressing down the “+Sign”
Then press on the folder or key : avp6_post_uninstall and then choose “Delete”
You can now try to re-install your Kaspersky.

– Activate Option "Hidden Files"
– Select "Show hidden files and folders" in the dialog box
