Getting double SMS after updating Galaxy S4

Hi there,

I have Sumsang  Galaxy S4 which I have updated to KitKat 4.4.1 and am getting double text messages for each single text someone sends me, I have Gosms Pro and the stock Sms App on my phone, I have tried to disable notifications on the stock App but the option is grayed out, How do I stop this? What could be the cause for such double messages?

Getting double SMS after updating Galaxy S4

It might be the problem of your SMS settings. Also, you can try clearing Go SMS Pro’s data.

Go to Settings >> Applications >> Manage Applications >> go to tab “Downloaded” >> Go SMS Pro >> Clear Data. Now, reboot your Galaxy S4.

Try downloading the latest GO SMS Pro.

If that doesn’t work, give a factory reset of your Galaxy S4.
