Getting good pings from Asia

I am playing MMO games from Asia. The servers are located in NA and europe. How can i get good Pings to play smoothly in these servers ? Should I change my ISP ?

Getting good pings from Asia

 

 

There are several factors that contribute to the ping rate that you are getting. Here are some that you might want to check on:

 

• Major Factor would be your distance from the server. If the server is busy then you'll most likely to get high ping rates from their server.

 

• Connection Type – is your computer connected directly to the modem via Ethernet cable or are you connecting through a wireless connection. If you're using a wired connection, check your cable for damages. If you're using wireless connection, you might want to try connecting your computer straight to the modem.

 

• Check for Viruses or Spywares on your computer.

 

• Check for any firewalls, try disabling your firewall temporarily then run a test and check if there is any difference with the ping rate.

 

• Make sure that you are not running any download managers in the background.

 

• Your internet connection speed also is one factor. You can upgrade to a higher speed.
