Getting my apple ID and password

Hi all. I just bought a used apple iPhone 4G. Now I need the apple ID and password. For that purpose, I tried to contact the previous owner of the iPhone but I could not really find him. Should I contact the local apple store? Please help me solve this problem. Thanks in advance for the help!

Getting my apple ID and password

It is a new security feature in Apple iOS7 which requires the original owner’s Apple ID and password.  This is a way of reducing the theft of Apple iOS devices.

There is no way around to unlock the phone without entering the Apple ID and password of the previous owner.
