Hi recently after installing Windows 7 on my PC I came across the feature “Microsoft Wi-Fi miniport adapter” there is not much information on the internet about the feature. How does a virtual connection adapter even work?

Getting To Know The Wonders Of The Virtual Wi-Fi Miniport Adaptor

The virtual wireless LAN network allows a windows computer to connect to a hardware access point (AP) while also acting as a software AP to allow other wireless support devices to be connected to it. The two functions work together, and the virtual adapter system needs to be enabled on all the devices and the arrangement does not work separately.
