Hi all,

My computer is showing Windows Update Error 9c48 during the modernize process. The update process stops as soon as the computer encounters the problem. How to fix it?

Getting Windows Update Error 9c48 During The Update Process.

This error occurs when Windows installs Internet Explorer 10. One way to avoid this trouble is to remove IE10 from installed updates.

1. Open Control Panel.

2. Select “Program and Features”.

3. Click on “View installed updates” in the left Pane.

4. Look for Internet Explorer and right-click on it.

5. Select the “Uninstall” option.

Now, the problem will not exist.

You can manually download Internet Explorer on your PC and use it.
