I have a Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4P ver. 1.0 motherboard and my problem is, whenever I play a video using my browser which is a Firefox, the sound randomly goes on and off.
And when it totally turns off, a reboot will fix the problem and then after a while, the same thing will happen. Is this an issue with my browser or with my motherboard itself?
Where can I find the drivers for my motherboard as I lost the disk that comes with it when I purchased it.
Thanks.
Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4P ver. 1.0 Motherboard Sound Issue
First of, have you tried another browser such as Chrome and see if you will have a sound issue?
So we can identify if this is just an issue with the browser.
Try to update your Mozilla Firefox or reinstall it if you want to stick on using it.
And also, does the same error occurs when you are not using your browser such as when you are playing your Media Player?
Otherwise, if this is not the case, maybe you can try to reinstall the sound drivers for your Gigabyte GA-P551-UD4P. You can download it from the link provided below.
Simply scroll down and then select Driver for the Download Type and Choose your OS.
