GIMP cannot create GIF images

Hi,

I am using GIMP to create GIF images but I am getting this unknown error message. What does it mean by ‘Delay inserted to prevent evil CPU-sucking anim’.Have any idea to fix this issue? I would be grateful to you if you provide me the suggestion regarding this error. I will be thankful to you.

GIMP cannot create GIF images

The sentence ‘Delay inserted to prevent evil CPU-sucking anim’ means that a delay is necessary for everything to work properly. If there is a 0 ms delay  (=no delay at all), this could make the computer wait for more than a month between every frame and this would take an unnecessary amount of time and power.

The reason for this error might be a blank layer on top of others. To check this out, press Ctrl+L and delete blank layers from the list that appears.
