GIMP remote error trying to launch the application

Hi,

This is the error that I have when I want to open one image with GIMP Remote. Is not the first time when I have this error in GIMP but all the time it passed by itself. Now I cannot get rid of it. Is there an expert who can help me please with this error ?

GIMP remote error trying to launch the application

You should check that have you associated "gimp win remote" instead of "gimp.exe"?

If  yes, it can be reported as bug.

So change the version of gimp.exe to the version you want and also remember that gimp-win-remote.reg file needs administrative rights. 

Change the association command lines that you are using currently.
