Glossary needed for estimate module joomla

Hi, I’m working with my web developer and we’re wondering if we could have glossary working with estimate module joomla. We’re using version 1.7 and we’d like to use one that’s compatible if there is. Do you have any information ready?

Glossary needed for estimate module joomla

Hi Kathy,

There is a glossary that works with Joomla you are using. This is called the Joomla Extensions Directory.

The current version is 2.8 which was updated last August of 2012 but it is definitely compatible with Joomla 1. x, 1.5x, and 2.5x.

It contains Glossary Search plugin that searches Joomla sites online and find glossary terms in any content.

This latest version also contains markdown editing scheme used for styling glossary definitions.

Hi there Kathy Stone,

 

One small note for the beginning – most of the add-ons compatible with Joomla 2.5 are compatible with Joomla 1.7 too. 

 

There are several glossary components available for the version of Joomla you are using. I would recommend you to try the one named simply – Glossary. You can find it at the following link: GLOSSARY COMPONENT FOR JOOMLA. It is a complete component with all add-ons needed, quite simple and easy for costumization so I'm sure you'll like it. 

 

There is also a whole section for glossary components in Joomla Extension catalog, so you may want to check there to see if you will find something else that will suit your needs: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/directory-a-documentation/glossary.
