Good net accelerators for Windows

My internet works terribly slow. Can someone tell me about some good net accelerators for Windows? Best if it's freeware. I use XP home.

I searched some good internet accelerators for you. The first one is Google Web Accelerator 0.2.70:

You can see there the description as well as the technical needs of it. However it also has some caveats. The second one is the Turbo Internet. It has a 14-day trial; it enables you to speed up your video steaming:
