Hello there,
What is up with my Google Chrome browser.
When I press the icon on the taskbar it just won't minimize.
This makes for a terrible waste of time. It was working fine yesterday.
Also,my alt + tab is not working, and I can't switch in between the windows i'm working on.
I'm using windows XP.
What happened?
Regards,
j.j.

Google chrome browser will not minimize
First, don’t start Google Chrome. If you said your ALT + TAB is not working, maybe the problem is not with your Google Chrome. Try opening 2 applications first then check if ALT + TAB is working. If it is working, start a third application and verify that ALT + TAB is still working and switching between 3 applications are smoothly done.
When ALT + TAB is verified to have no problem, try starting Google Chrome this time as the fourth application. In this case, if something is wrong with your Google Chrome and it is not working properly, ALT + TAB will malfunction again. Try switching windows between the applications using ALT + TAB. If the problem appeared again, try updating Google Chrome to the latest version to fix the problem.
To get the latest version, visit Download and Install Google Chrome. This one uses a web installer to install Google Chrome on your computer. If you want to have the standalone installer, visit Google Chrome Offline Installer. Once downloaded, click Start, Control Panel, and then Add or Remove Programs. Select Google Chrome from the list then click Uninstall or Remove to uninstall the browser.
After that, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then Disk Cleanup. Select drive C then click OK. Check Setup Log Files and “Temporary files” then click OK. When it is finished, restart the computer. Next, open Windows Explorer then navigate to the download folder. Double-click on the downloaded Google Chrome installer to install the latest version. Once installed, try it again and see if it fixes the problem.
