When Google Chrome is used to open Gmail or Google Calendar, this error occurs.
Browsing data / cache is already cleared but the same error still appears. However, when other websites are browsed and downloaded, Google Chrome works fine.Â
Â
Moreover, both Google Calendar and Gmail are working functionally in Internet Explorer 8 on the same computer.Â
Please help and I prefer to use Google Chrome because it is my favorite.

Google Chrome gives SSL connection error
Hi John!
Your concern has something to do with the use of Google Chrome. Getting such kind of error is related to the SSL Certificates authorization. You need to take the following steps:
-
First of all, clear all your browsing data and then empty the cache memory.
-
After that, delete all cookies and other website data from the memory and remove or clear all your browsing saved data from the period of the last day.
-
Then restart your browser to see whether or not the problem is solved.
-
If still receives the same error, consult me again and we will look into the depth of the issue.
Thanks.

Google Chrome gives SSL connection error
Dear John,
Try this solution. Steps are shown below (This is for latest version of Chrome 12.0.742.122.). For earlier versions, some options might be different.
-
Go to Options >> Under the Bonnet (in some version this option is UNDER THE HOOD).
-
Under HTTPS/SSL, check all 3 options. Check for server certificate revocation, Use SSL 3.0, Use TLS 1.0
See the attached for a clear image.Â
Google Chrome gives SSL connection error
Google Chrome is much faster in downloading than other browsers like Firefox and any others. I like Google Chrome. I believe it will be able to take a significant slice of browser market pie. Hopefully and mostly at the expense of Internet Explorer. It remains to be seen. Hundreds of millions of Google users will be motivated to install it through a web search results page or from any of the Google products, which at this point in time I think, is fine.
