Google Chrome, I received an http error

Hi TechyV,

While navigating a site with the browser Google Chrome, I received an http error. It failed to connect the server. I tried it again and again but no result Have you any idea for the issue? How can I solve this problem?

Please help.

Google Chrome, I received an http error

Try the followings:

Check your windows firewall or any other firewall, if it is blocking outbound request from chrome.exe. If you have installed Norton then go to Norton Firewall screen and click the configuration button for application blocking. If chrome is set to block then change it to allow, then click done. Now restart chrome, it will work. Google chrome must be allowed in antivirus and firewall setting.

This may also cause due to malware, Check your computer for malwares.

This error may also cause due to corrupt cookie. Clear cookies using google chrome and then check if the problem solved.

Hi,

I’ll help you with some basic trouble shooting steps.

>>Make sure your Proxy server is off.

>>Delete all your internet cookies and temporary files.

>>Make sure your Firewall has a rule to allow your Google chrome browser. If you don’t have a rule in Firewall, create a new rule.

>>Make sure system date and time is correct.

>>Try browsing the site from another browser and check if things are working well there.

>>Try reinstalling the Google chrome onto your computer.

This should fix your issue.
