Hi all!

Google Chrome issued a certificate that my site cannot be trusted.

How can I get rid of this? I am not asking from the client side, but rather globally.  How can I fix this issue for my site?

I am hosted in GoDaddy.

Thanks.

Hi!

Security certificate error will pop-up regardless what browser you are using  Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, and only if the following are present:

* Clock's time and date are incorrect
* Security certificate is out of date
* The website is not trusted

To fix this error, first is to correct the time

* Double click the time in the system tray
* Adjust the time and date accordingly
* Once adjusted to the correct settings, click OK
* Try it again, and if error still occurs,  then
* Update security certificate
* And if it still continues, then don't proceed.  Website can not really trusted.

Hello!

If you are experiencing this error on Google Chrome, it can be due to more than one reason. You will have to consider the following solutions:

  • Your website may contain scripts that may cause this error (i.e) if you are publishing advertisements for some other websites, any  of the scripts can be creating trouble. So you will have to remove those  scripts one by one to see which one is creating this error.
  • If this solution does not help, then it means you need to install one or more certificates on the web server. The following is the list of those certificates with respective links:
  • Link for Comodo
  • Link for VeriSign
  • Link for GoDaddy
  • Link for GeoTrust
  • Link for GlobalSign

Do ask your hosting provider, GoDaddy.com about this problem by chatting with their representative for more information. You can get more information about SSL  certificates from this link.

Good Luck.
