Google Chrome problem with Alienware 18 laptop

I just updated my Java runtime with my laptop. All were working properly and then something popped-up in the monitor. I accidentally clicked the pop-up. My Google Chrome closed and then I thought I was using Chrome, but when I checked it is showing “crossbrowse.” I tried to uninstall it and now I cannot surf in the internet. Is it a possible virus infections? Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this problem? I cannot reformat my laptop since I have tons of documents in it.

Please help me with this problem.

Thank you!

Actually, it seems that your system is virus infected. So, scan the computer to detect any virus or malware attack, kill the programs if detected any.

Further more, it is advisable to,

  • Check for errors in windows device manager & fix those errors accordingly
  • try reinstalling Chrome.
  • Get the latest drivers for your computer’s main devices like the video & sound and solve any network connectivity problems, if any
  • Install the latest updates of the software and drivers
  • Install the OS updates if available

Best regards!
