Google+ spoof on FaceBook acquiring Instagram

Hello there!

Apparently, a lot of users are still linking Google+ to Facebook's acquisition of Instagram.

Lately, the WhiteSpace, the app the Google have purchased gains attention to users in Google+ since it could add random pockets of white space.

Also, there are a lot of users who talk about different uses of the white space like putting an extra open window to cover up the white space or place memos on it.

Somehow, users on Google+ also talk about joking videos and such from topics like Facebook with Instagram, or what would happen next to Microsoft and such.

Hope it helped.

Thanks.

Neil

But, on the other hand, if we’ll going to talk about Facebook’s acquisition over Instagram, releasing that amount is such a big deal. That’s a great sum of money for acquiring only a particular service. Instagram is similar to Photobucket where you can take a picture then upload it on different social networking sites like Facebook and especially Twitter.

It is a kind of social networking and online photo sharing service where you can apply a digital filter on the photo you have taken and then share it with your favorite social networking sites.

What usually comes to my mind every time I hear the word “Instagram” is the Polaroid images taken from a Polaroid camera where the photo is in a square shape. The Instagram service was launched October of 2010 designed by Mike Krieger and Kevin Systrom. After that it quickly became popular to over 100 million users.

The only down side of using Instagram after it was acquired by Facebook is that it will sell all of its users’ photos to third parties without giving any notification. This literally means that they will earn from your uploaded photos without giving you a single cent and without you knowing it. That’s the reason why other users immediately shifted to other services like the one with Yahoo!, the Flickr.

Of course, Facebook is a social networking site and since it is a social networking site, people or users will start uploading their important photos to their account so they can start sharing it with their friends who are also on Facebook. And since Instagram is also a social networking site dedicated to photo sharing it is a good alternative to upload pictures and still be able to share it with Facebook. And the good thing about Instagram is that it quickly attracts millions of users all of over the world.

The only thing I don’t like about it after it was purchased by Facebook is about the changes they made in its Terms and Conditions. It says that they will sell the users’ photos to other third parties without even notifying the owner of the photos or the users. That’s quite a one sided deal to run a business and I don’t agree with that. They will earn with the available photos but the actual owners of the pictures don’t earn a cent.
