Got CHAP Authentication Failed In The Router Logs.

I tried establishing a connection between my computers using a router with the ISP provider which requires PPPoE protocol. But, I couldn’t do so as it displayed CHAP authentication failed. How do I fix it?

Got CHAP Authentication Failed In The Router Logs.

PPPoE is used on the DSL connection, and there are chances that the router may have asked about the connection. You may have assumed it to be DSL and went for it to do PPPoE. If that is not the case, see all the router firmware has updated. Ask the ISPs to know about the efficient routers. And match the router MAC address with your PC.
